Candiss walked down the street. The suburban houses, windows shattered, doors broken open. She could see families inside and all sorts of pictures. There were little boys and little girls, moms and dads. All this had been done. This was probably what her house in Babylon looked like. Destroyed. Broken. Invaded. What a loss. No mom or dad. She actually didn't mind. She had separated herself from them, afraid to they would die soon and that she'd be heart broken. Well they had died soon. But she was not heartbroken.
