Evan turned around to see someone following. He didn't recognize the kid, but strangely, he was taller than Evan. Oh great, now I'm not tallest. He ignored that for the moment being, and stopped just in front of the Town Hall. "There's some people trapped in there." He said to the guy following him and the girl he had passed.

Dylan looked at all the shadows that were in the Town Hall. "Well. Let's get 'em out." he said, grabbing his two swords from the sheaths that were strapped on his back.

Noah blinked, scaling the wall. "HEY!" he yelled, ignoring the headache. "IN HERE!"

Evan ran in, bat in hand, wire wrapped tightly around it. Right into a room full of shadows. He froze dead in his tracks. Not a good idea, he thought.

Marie-Claire joined him, pounding on the door.
"HELP!" she screamed.

Dylan was right behind him. Without another thought, both arms were slashing into the shadow's bodies. "Shush!" he yelled at the people locked in. "We're gonna get you out but you need to be quiet."

Ceslie caught up with them. She pulled a sharp kitchen knife out of her cowboy boot. " Ya." She said simply.

Evan tried getting over his fear of the beasts so he would look cool in front of the new guy. He hit blindly with his bat.

Ceslie started slashing the shadows closest to her.

The shadows' claws caught onto Dylan's baggy jacket but he didn't seem to mind. He had more at home. The irises of his eyes darted around the room. Taking in how many shadows there were. He smirked. He could take more than this alone. But e didn't mind the help.

Evan finally felt confident enough to look. Wow, wasn't very hard. He decided to try not to look so stupid, and pretended to know what he's doing.

Soon all the shadows were gone. The air filled with their ash and cleared. Dylan called to the people in the panic room. "Alright. It's safe." His voice was deep and it told he was older than the others.

Noah smiled. He slowly cracked open the door, peeking out. He then flipped it up all the way.

Marie-Claire moved out of the room, blinking slightly in the bright light coming through the doorway.
"Thank goodness somebody came," she breathed gratefully.

Dylan grinned at Evan. "It's not a crime to show whatcha got." He looked at Marie. "Well hello there." He moved closer to her and took her hand, kissing it softly. "I'm Dylan Jackles."

Evan grunted again, muttering to himself so Dylan couldn't hear what he was saying. He pretended to gag behind his back when he kissed Marie's hand.

Ceslie looked around. She sighed in relief and looked as the people came out of the panic room.

"Marie-Claire," she introduced herself, awkwardly curtsying.

Dylan took the rose from his jacket and put it in her hair. "For you, the beautiful damsel."

Ceslie raised and eyebrow and had a crooked smile on her face. Secretly, she was a little jealous, but she still enjoyed the drama.

Marie-Claire looked surprised. Her cheeks were a bright pink by now, and she tried not to stammer as she said, "Th-thank you."

He bowed. "Of course a single rose can't compare." his hand went into his jacket and he pulled out a bouquet of white roses. "I hope this can suffice."
